Firstly,
login to Tiled
or set up
free trial account. Secondly, download the Tiled plugin for
Adobe XD,
Figma, or
Sketch. There are 5 phases to the certificate:
1. Apply
2. Define
3. Design
4. Assemble
5. Submission
Phase one of the certificate process is to
APPLY. You’ve done that! Great!
In phase two, which you are in now, you’ll need to
DEFINE what type of content you are going to make. You can use any of your own pre-existing materials, like a Sales Pitch Deck, an eBook, or a Case Study.
Ultimately, you need to be able to answer two questions:
1. What is the purpose of the microapp?
2. How will I measure the success of this microapp? Need a few pieces of inspiration? Check out our
Case Studies,
Templates, and
Showcase pages.
Phase 3 is to
DESIGN a microapp. You are welcome to utilize Figma, Adobe XD, or Sketch to complete your design. For this certificate program, you will need to build a desktop format, as well as a mobile or tablet format. These formats should be included in the same design file.
We will be looking for a few specific things within your design.
Check out the Rubric to see the nitty gritty details.
You’ll
ASSEMBLE your microapp in phase 4. From scroll tiles to quizzes, from hotspots to embeds, you’ll need to use a variety of tiles within the Tiled Builder to finalize your microapp.
Once you have completed the assembly of your new microapp, you’ll need to publish, and generate a direct share link for the next phase.
Finally, the
SUBMISSION phase. During this final stage, you will complete a 20 question quiz. Then you will submit your design file, and your direct share link via
this form. You’ll also need to answer those two questions from Phase 2 above. (Told you they would come back up.)
Once you have pushed the “Submit” button, you’ll receive an email to let you know that everything was received properly on our end. That email will include more details about what happens next. In short, you’ll hear back from us within a specified time frame either with feedback or your certificate!
