Welcome to the July Release!
We’ve rolled out a series of updates to make building faster, smarter, and more intuitive. This month’s release includes new features to streamline your workflow, improve usability, and eliminate common frustrations, along with helpful bug fixes to keep everything running smoothly in Builder 2.0.
Now you can lock layers in place to prevent accidental edits or shifts while working on other elements. Easily, toggle the lock on or off at any time from the layers panel.
No more misplaced tiles—especially when working on intricate layouts like scroll tiles. This feature gives you peace of mind by ensuring critical elements stay exactly where you intended. Use it when finalizing layouts or building multi-layer designs for precise control over every detail.

We’ve added support for familiar shortcuts:
Notably, these keys now affect only the selected assets—no more accidental full-page deletions.
Faster edits with fewer clicks. These shortcuts align with what you already expect from design tools, reducing clicks and keeping your workflow smooth. Ideal for users juggling multiple assets or rapidly iterating on a design.
We’ve swapped out numeric font weight values like “100” and “200” with familiar names such as Extra Light, Light, Normal, and Bold so you know exactly what you’re choosing.
Say goodbye to guessing what “200” means. With clearer font labels, you can choose the right type weight quickly and confidently. Great for preserving visual consistency and ensuring precise branding throughout every stage of your project
We squashed some bugs to make your experience smoother than ever.
• Dragging assets and reordering pages, subpages, or layers now works as expected in Firefox.
• Resize handles now respond correctly even when zoomed in or out.
• Image tiles using a URL now display accurate names instead of “TEST.”
• Ghost images no longer flash when navigating into subpages.
• You can now import microapp files across Tiled accounts without hitting any errors.
