The opportunity

Tiled is looking for a self-motivated and highly collaborative UI/UX Designer with a customer-first mindset to join our team of passionate people who are revolutionizing the world of interactive experiences.

As a UI/UX Designer at Tiled, you will be responsible for transforming static content into interactive experiences for our customers using design tools and Tiled. You’ll be working as part of our Professional Services team to scope, create and deliver microapps.

What you’ll do

Specifically, we are looking for someone with a customer-first mindset who will:

  • Collaborate directly with our partners and  customers alongside the Professional Services Manager to deliver interactive microapps.
  • Strategize and map out thoughtful user experiences based on real user needs, motivations, and pain-points.
  • Create conceptual solutions to data visualization and communication challenges.
  • Design simple design solutions for complex technology and communication problems.
  • Conduct layout adjustments based on feedback.
  • Build experiences with best practice UX principles and interaction patterns.
  • Iteratively adapt to changes in business, product, and organization with the ability to think strategically and conceptually.
  • Work with our Customer Success team to further understand the needs of our customers as they navigate the digital experiences with Tiled.
  • Work with other designers to think strategically about UX and design efforts.

What you’ll bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Design or four (4) years of experience in a related field.
  • Ability to use skills from UX/UI, service design, design research, and design strategy to think creatively about solutions.
  • Willingness to work at a high level to map strategic goals and journeys, but also to get hands-on in designing and wireframing solutions
  • Ability to iterate quickly and experiment with new solutions with an entrepreneurial attitude.
  • Fluency with digital design tools including Adobe XD, Illustrator, Photoshop, Indesign, Sketch, Figma and Invision.
  • Strong conceptual thinking and execution in both visual and user experience design.
  • Ability to manage and contribute to multiple projects concurrently.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to present clearly and persuasively.
  • Ability and desire to be a highly collaborative team member
  • Ability to work well in a highly collaborative and fast-paced environment.
  • Desired, but not required: animation skills or fluency with AfterEffects
