The opportunity

Tiled is looking for a creative, self-motivated, and highly collaborative Copywriter to join our team of passionate people who are revolutionizing the world of interactive experiences.

As a Copywriter at Tiled, you know the power of words and how to use them to build authentic connections between users and our platform. Your mission is to tell Tiled’s story in new and compelling ways. You will work collaboratively with the Marketing and Experience teams to improve and unify our communication strategy across all touchpoints. Organizationally, you will be a member of the Experience team and will report to the VP of Experience.


What you’ll do:

You will be a part of the Experience team. As a team, you will work collaboratively to better tell Tiled’s story by crafting language and visuals that inspire, delight, and build connections with our users and potential customers.

  • Partner with marketing and brand to craft a clear brand narrative and voice across all touch points
  • Understand and incorporate brand strategy and positioning into all content, as appropriate
  • Partner with the Experience and Marketing teams to produce copy for various marketing channels including website, landing pages, ad campaigns, email, social media, video, ebooks, newsletters, presentations, and more
  • 
Edit and proofread copy supplied by team members and external partners for voice, style, tone, grammar, and spelling.
  • Develop and maintain a writing style guide
  • Work with subject matter experts to humanize technical content and make it clear, digestible, and easy to understand
  • Craft copy that aligns with business goals, such as increasing brand awareness, engagement, and conversions.

What you’ll bring:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Communications or a related field, preferred.
  • 3-5 years of copywriting experience in-house or agency.
  • Portfolio of work that shows a range of copywriting samples. Should include creative headlines and body copy for the types of projects listed above.
  • Clear, concise writing, with the ability to distill complex ideas into easily understood language
  • Exceptional attention to detail, multitasking, and initiative to follow through
  • Ability to give and receive feedback in a constructive way
  • Ability to communicate and work well in a collaborative team environment
  • A proactive mindset that identifies problems and acts on opportunities to improve content and copy.
  • Ability to work independently and contribute to multiple projects concurrently
